Guest guest
Thanks, I am going to grind up some oats and add them with the bran. Thanks Bran >Jocelyn, >What could you use with the wheat bran so as not >to interfere with mineral absorption? Would you use >the oat bran with it? > >Thanks, > Love, > If the bran is eaten as part of a whole grain flour or meal, it doesn't have that effect. It only occurs when excess pure bran is used. Your might try using the oat bran instead of all or part of the wheat. ~~ Jocelyne
Guest guest
High fiber cereals are ok as long as you follow the fist/palm measurement and there is a low amount of added sugar. In fact, the actual fiber count is not included in the overall carbs because fiber has no effect on blood sugar and passes through undigested. Stasia > I have been eating a cup of shredded wheat and bran for my carbs for > breakfast along with some cottage cheese. I don't know if that is ok > to eat but I need bran in my diet to keep myself regular. Any ideas?? > Thanks for all the great ideas >
