Maybe that is the profit Niman makes? Have you ever seen their prices? Frightening. The part that irks my butt is the fact that I saw a farmer noted in a sustainable agriculture pamphlet (from SARE) that raised for Niman and do you know what?? The pigs are raised in a barn (open arrangement not pens) and NEVER see the light of day except for the windows. I thought holy cow and they are saying they sell range pork?? Are you selling direct to the public, to a packer or auction? You should be getting more if you are ranging the pigs.
