Hi guysThis is a waste disposal OSCEDo you know guys what do we put in tiger bag?

Waste

6 trays each marked-

1. Black bag

2. Yellow bag

3. Sharps Bin

4. Disinfection bath

5. Surface Disinfection

6. Autoclave

Instruments like X-ray film holder, gloves, syringe and needles, rubber dam,

plastic cups, dappen dish etc.

Put each in the correct tray.

Yellow Bag-

Single use items of personal protection equipment (gloves, masks and disposable

aprons)

Single use items contaminated with blood, saliva or other body fluids (Paper

towels, cotton rolls, cling films, used X-ray film packet)

Decontamination-

Protective eye wear

Autoclave-

Metal instruments

Handpieces

Dappen dish

Sharps-

Anything that can pierce the yellow bin such as-

Needles and cannulae

Disposable syringes

Matrix bands

Endodontic instruments

Teeth and roots

Scalpels

Wooden interdental wedges

Slow n fast suction tips

Disposable 3-1 water/air tips

L.A. cartridges

Ortho wires and brackets

Drug ampoules (empty)

Contaminated plaster models and lab work for disposal

L.A. cartridges (partially discharged)

Amalgam

Amalgam capsules

Teeth filled with amalgam

Surplus drugs in syringes and ampoules

Radiographic developer and fixer

Others-

Impressions- Rinse with water and then disinfect by immersion in 1%

hypochlorite or Perform (Di-isocynurate) for 10 minutes. Re-rinse with water.

Transport to lab in sealed, named bags.

Spittoon- Clean and disinfect
