Guest guest
This is a post that will be interesting to the Doug Kelsey, " cartilage can heal " people. I'm going to Austin to the Sportscenter! I won't be seeing DK, but I spoke to who is of the same mind (they all are there) and uses the same techniques. I am glad I finally made the decision to do this. She was very knowledgeable and gave me plenty of confidence that she's going to be practically as good as seeing Doug. Just saw doc number 3 today (mainly b/c I wanted to request an MRI). My x-rays didn't look terrible at all, there's definitely still cartilage there (going to have MRI next week), but again the main idea was " this is only going to get worse and there's not much you can do about it. " Asked him about the idea of cartilage healing and he scoffed, basically. Sure hope I get to prove him wrong!
Guest guest
Sounds great, Jenni. Please keep us updated how that goes! I'll be interested to hear what testing they do, and what they recommend. As for what Larry said -- I can second that, as initial progress is very slow. For five or six months, I really wasn't sure if I was going to get better or not. Patience is rewarded! Cheers, www.savingmyknees.com > > Thanks, Larry. Really appreciate your encouragement. I am very excited to go. > > > > ________________________________ > From: Lawrence Terbell <lterbell@...> > chondromalacia treatment > Sent: Wednesday, August 10, 2011 1:46 PM > Subject: Re: " where I'm at " > > >  > I saw when I went to SportsCenterAustin.
