Guest guest
I know you are Liz, You're dong great!!! I have been doing quite a bit myself lately but am not too good about posting. I have been doing the AM/ PM Calanetics, either video 1 or video 2 of LL, Curves, and I have taken up running again. I only do that every other day though and it is really tough after not doing it for 5 years. I managed 2 miles the other night though, and I have noticed that my lung capacity is almost endless due to years of LL. My body gives out alot sooner than my breath. Now I have to work onl building up my legs. Love, Re: Liz's Workout on Wed. Thanks !!!!! Guest guest
Hi , You are very busy with your workouts, doesn't it sometimes get a little crazy? It does for me. That's why I don't mind having a day or two when I do very little of a workout. This morning I did a 7 min. workout. I did one whole LL breath while I was swimming isn't that pathetic???? However I did pretend that I was running in the pool and worked my legs quite a bit. Does that count????? :-) I'm trying an experiment for 3 weeks, the program that I'm doing is called the " 7 Minute Miracle " . You workout on one body part for 7 min. or less very intensely using 3 different exercises focusing on the body part that you have the hardest time losing from. The author's philosophy is by doing this you'll send all the adrenaline to that body part causing a fat burning process in that area. He believes that you shouldn't exercise for more than 7 min. at a time and that you shouldn't do any other exercise for at least 3 hours afterwards. He also says that you should wait 40 min. before eating and that you should eat a meal consisting of 50% carbs, 30% fat, and 20% protein at that meal. I'm doing this workout in the morning before breakfast and doing LL in the afternoon or evening. So we'll see what happens. I'm taking a break from most of my other exercise in order to give this a good try. Love ya!!!! Liz ---- I know you are Liz, You're dong great!!! Guest guest
----- That's great Liz, let me know how it turns out. I think I just read something about that in either Womans World or First magazine. Sounds really interesting. I'm really not working out like a crazy woman but am trying to keep my metabolism going so I try to do something in the morning and something at night. I don't know how long I will keep the running up, it is really treachery!!!! But it sure makes me sleep better at night, and especially if I do some of the reflexology or stretching afterwards. I will go back and re-read that article. Can you do any of the LL breaths with the exercises? One thing I have found, if I do my LL breaths before I go to Curves, I can get through the machines much easier and I'm more energetic. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I 1st read about it in the " First " mag. I then ordered the book. It's very interesting and it makes a whole lot of sense, well if it works it does. :-) The guy that wrote it is big into weight lifting he can lift hundreds of lbs. however he still had a big gut. So he did a lot of research into genetics and came up with this idea. His thoughts are the reason why it's harder to lose in certain areas is due to your genes. If your mom has big thighs than you're prone to have them, if she has a big butt than you might have one etc. etc. etc. Thanks Mom!!!!!! :-) I think it would be toooo hard to do LL while you do these exercises because you're suppose to go as fast as you can, however you could do a few before and after as long as you stayed pretty much in the 7 min. time limit. Guest guest
Hello , It is so great to hear from you. Remember with Life Lift you should not be working out like a crazy woman. Don't forget to keep yourself nurtured. The more relaxed you are the easier it is for your body to release toxins, fat and stress. Sweet Liz, The 7 minute idea sounds very good to me. I have actually been doing some studies on that principle with Life Lift being done in 7 minute increments. I will let you know what my findings are. Cyber hugs to all of you, Rashelle ----- That's great Liz, let me know how it turns out. I think I just read something about that in either Womans World or First magazine. Sounds really interesting.
