Guest guest
All pop, my little girl has and is well all the time with the exception of the fevers. Her symtoms include joint pain, sore stomach, reduced appetite, chills, blue fingernails, soaring fevers for 5 days and serious whining. All of this is obviously while shes in the fever.I believe Pfapa is the diagnosis after the specialists rule out the other fever disorders(the labs are traumatizing to the little buggers)but, when you have a name for this problem you can start to regain control of your lives. My specialist prescribed prednizone (one dose at the start of the fever .5 ml and within an hour shes better.)Also my doc said that there appears to be different types of and the type my girl has she should outgrow. Our fevers had no time distinction at first and then they became like clockwork every 13 days. When you say at your end I totally feel your pain, without the prednizone she would'nt even be in preschool. Also get a fever log and mark the time and day they start and end and this will help you plan your life around the fevers(however you treat them)we pggybacked tylenol and motrin at first.Hang in there and stay informed, theres people who know and people who care. Guest guest
Hi everyone I was just diagnosed with chondromalacia patella today. I had my right knee taped up right now and it feels good. I would appreciate your advise on how to deal with the condition.
Guest guest
Do everything you can do physically. Stop when it hurts. It's a balancing act that you never get the luxury of walking away from. But life does go on and most of us have found you can do more than you thought.
