, Steph, Ellen,....

What beautiful smiles! Thank you so much for posting the photo's of your

kids (and dog!) - it does help when we can put a face to the name! I'll try

to find one of all of us and post it - I do have a scanner, but its not

hooked up!

I have spent the day shovelling out around my desk. About 50% of the junk

wasnt mine - which is frustrating since i have to throw out the other 50%

that is mine!

happy holidays - wendy, in canada

HI Dana:

What lovely pics, what about one of you, or are those your baby pics <VBG>?

My new color printer does a pretty good job. Now we have to get the

digital camera part I guess. The kids are pressuring us something fierce

for a new fully loaded computer. Take care, aloha, Kathy

Pam,

When and where did you post the pictures of Hannah and ? I did not

seem to receive them, not even an e-mail saying that you sent them.

Also, I missed the e-mail about and quadruplets.

Wondering if all is well with my computer--it seems to be working great

lately. (Knock on Wood!).

Have a great day.

Hi Pam,

Thanks to the help of , who is also an AOL customer, I went to the egroup

archives and there your pictures were. and Hannah are beautiful.

They wear their hair like Sara's, in a bob--I've always thought that fits

Sara's personality--wish we lived closer, so they could all play together.

Sara was very sad tonight when was invited to go play at a friend's

house...We need to work on meeting more little girls for her to play

with--This is hard--I feel Sara would like to have more little girlfriends to

play with, so I'm questioning what part I play in all of this--It may be me

expecting Mom's of typical little girls to invite her over first to play,

thinking we may be turned down if we invite them over, but those invites just

don't come. I was also thinking of seeing if there are any social groups of

children with special needs in Bend, which is a bigger town near where we

live.

Thanks for letting me vent about a sensitive issue-

I appreciate this group, sooo much.

Hi Marcia,

I'm glad you found the pictures. I did not know you

could go to the e-group and look at them. I learn

something new all the time about this computer.

I know what you mean about wishing we were all close

so we could let our children play together. I often

find myself thinking how I wish I could be with some

of y'all to share outr experiences in person. No onw

knows what we mothers go through. You know when I

first had my girls I had people just itching to get in

the door to help. Now I'm lucky to get a phone call

asking how they are!

Do you have family there to help with yours?

Does Sara have friends at school? Maybe you could

invite some of them over to play on a Saturday one

day.

I have a 4 year old neice I baby sit so that gives

mine someone to play with. And they have practically

grew up together.

Don't worry about the venting! That is what we are

here for!

Have a great Day!!

Hey Pam, speaking of your niece.......I was just wondering, how she gets

along with Hannah and ?

18 months after I had Tara and , my husband's younger brother and

wife had a baby girl{they are the ones who didn't call me while I was in

the hospital having the twins, nor did they come see us or Tara in

another hosp in the NICU}anyway.....since this couple has always saw

themselves as " perfect " and has not shown any interest in Tara, I don't

have high expectations of their baby and Tara having " any " kind of

relationship, even though they are cousins, 18 months apart, and just

one town away.............................

Are there any good cousin relationships out there among our families

here on this list with their children with Ds?

Just here in this house......I have to remind Jillian, 4 1/2, to include

Tara in playing. Jillian always seems to play with , and to get toys

to give to , put not Tara. But I see how this is happening,

responds to Jillian, he knows how the games work and what to do, and he

does what Jillian tells him{most times}Tara just isn't

there{yet?}Sometimes, because Jillian and seem to have similar

personalities, my husbands says jokingly, that Jillian and should

have been the " twins " ......................

Gail......Mom to Bobby 7, Jillian 4 1/2, and Tara{Ds} 22 months
