Guest guest
I have osteoarthritis and chondromalacia in both knees, unfortunately I also have heart disease and was scheduled for cardiac stress testing this coming Monday. I had both knees injected with cortizone and novacain about three weeks ago and it helped for less than a week. I've had to postpone my stress testing because I'm still getting physical therapy and having problems coming down steps (I " m afraid that my right knee will give out if I use that one to come down the stairs on. I have to make it stiff, put it down holding on to the banister and then bring my left leg after). I don't think I can walk a treadmill for this cardiac test. I'm open to all advise. Is it me or does this knee pain affect your thigh muscles as well as mine feel weak. thanks rose
