Well, after a car accident just over a year ago (which I now have a messed

up neck, back, and shoulder of which neither one is OK yet - still waiting

to see an orthopedist about the shoulder and the neck won't get better until

they do something about the shoulder) the doc had me on anti-inflammatory

medication for almost a year (prescription) of which has really messed up my

gut. Now the doc says no more anti-inflammatory meds for me. Problem is.I'm

headed in to fall/winter and my knees are killing me! For various reasons I

can't do too much movement (from the car accident and too much knee pain). I

don't really know what to do. I have lost almost 12 pounds, but have not

seen much if any improvement with the knees. I could still use to lose about

25 pounds (which is what orthos in the past at the local clinic have pointed

out pre-11 pound weight loss). I no longer will go to ANY of the ortho docs

at the clinic. I do have a treadmill (not always easy to use) and a

stationary recumbent bicycle, which I use when I can, but some days I just

hurt too much to walk much let alone do anything else. Any suggestions to

help with the pain?
