Guest guest
I don't want to sound rude but why would you exfoliate your lips? Am I missing out on something good? [sPAM] Need someone's expertise: Exfoliating Lip Cream I want to make an Exfoliating Lip Scrub in a cream base. I'm kind of gathering information by looking at previous posts and whatnot, but if any of you know of a recipe I could reference directly, that would help. I'm looking to use borax as the exfoliant. \I'm new to this, so Simple would most likely be best. Thanks!

Twice, after surgery, I have awakened with crusty lips (ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww)and would try to rub off the crust, fall asleep, rub the lips some more, fall asleep - you get the picture. Even though the rest of me hurt, the lips felt much better after getting " exfoliated. " JMTC Just My Two Cents, Anita B.
Guest guest
Exfoliating the lips is good to remove the dead skin off of them they tend not to get dry as much. Guest guest
Sorry for not responding to your question , I haven't been up to date with the group recently, and I'm trying to do better. Basically, I was trying to figure out how to make an exfoliant lip cream, to, in essence, remove rough skin and moisturize the lips as well. I've used one some years ago a few times and it made my lips really smooth and didn't dry them out. I used to live in Indiana and it got quite cold there in the winter. My lips chapped a lot during the winter months and dried out and became rough with the summer months. It was quite strange, and relate it more to a deficiency of oils in my diet. Regardless, I've been correcting that problem and wanted to make a scrub that was fine enough to gently exfoliate the lips, so as not to be too rough on the skin, and add a protective barrier of moisture after wiping them clean. Like I said, it helped me and I rather enjoyed it. I hope this clears things up. Take Care, > > I don't want to sound rude but why would you exfoliate your lips?
