Guest guest
: Congratulations for the new babie to come, they are a blessing, some girl, someplace in this groups have a nice place that she sells for babies, what really call my attention was 1) a nice " cake " , nicely done, I swear it was a congrat. one, until I enlarged the pics., OH MY, they were diapers, rolled and tied with a nice lace (light blue or pink), to make a nice tower as a birthday cake, never diapers were so nice to me, and they are so useful 2) In many places I have do my net " research " , coconut oil for the new mom, they say was the best, breasts and belly, many times a day to get rid of stretches, and if you whip it with some other nice butter or oil, and add a scent, in a nice bottle, but always most coconut oil, nice gift for her. 3) " talcum " for the newborn, make it yourself with starch (corn or potatoes), and blend it very smooth with lavender flowers (dried), do not use ay EO or FO in any product. 4) paper towels, with a nice oil to clean the newborn , never done them, but the thing is you cut paper towel by the half, roll the other way and soak it with something to clean the babie, well I have many other recipes in my documents saved, but here are some nice ideas, do not use cologne (alcohol), real talcum, or vaseline in the baby, OO is nice to clean them, and if there are some diaper rash, a nurse here (expert in newborns) say that most of the times they could be yeast, so treat them with yogurt (yeasts do not accept acidic pH).......Hope it helps blessings.....Ruth __________________________________________________ Correo Espacio para todos tus mensajes, antivirus y antispam ¡gratis! Guest guest
Here's a few recipes that I found that you might enjoy. (I'm pregnant too and I plan on making these for me and my baby due in February.) Stretch Mark Cream -1/4 cup cocoa butter -1 teaspoon light sesame oil -1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil -1 teaspoon vitamin E oil Place all the ingredients in an ovenproof glass container and gently heat until the cocoa butter is melted and the oils are well mixed. Pour into a clean container and allow the cream to cool completely. Store in a cool, dry place. Apricot Baby Oil -1/4 cup apricot kernel oil -1 tablespoon light sesame oil -1/2 tablespoon wheat germ oil -1-2 drops essential oil of sweet orange, chamomile, or lavender (optional) Stir together all ingredients and pour into a clean, dry container with a tight-fitting lid. To use: Massage a small amount into warm or damp skin. Store in a cool, dark, dry location. Diaper Cream -2 tablespoons -1 teaspoon coconut oil -1 teaspoon apricot kernel oil -1/4 teaspoon vitamin E oil -1/2 cup distilled water Mix together the lecithin, coconut oil, apricot kernel oil, and vitamin E oil. Heat this mixture gently until the coconut oil is liquefied. Gently heat the distilled water until it is roughly the same temperature as the oil mixture. Pour the lecithin mixture into a blender and start stirring. Slowly add the warm water and blend on High until the mixture is thick and creamy. Pour the cream into a clean container and allow it to cool completely, stirring occasionally. To use: Apply a small amount onto your baby's clean bottom before diapering. Note: You can adjust this cream's consistency by adding more or less water to the recipe. Hope this helps get you started! ~Sheri > > My brother in laws girlfriend is due to have his baby at anytime. I would love to make a basket full of goodies for her and the baby. Anyone have any ideas or recipes, good scents. She is extrmely huge ( I mean that in a good way) and is going to have stretch marks terribly any ideas for a good butter or something to that effect. > > > >
