Guest guest
I really don't know if this helps anyone. but I'll post it anyway. Saw the OS today and we are going back to surgery to do a manual manipulation and clear out any lessions and scar tissue. The plan to to try the manual manipulation and if it will not bend easily, then he will do the scope and clean up as required and bend the knee. I will be in PT two days later and go to PT every day for a couple of weeks to make sure I retauin the gained flex. All in all, it sound very painful, but I th PT, OS ans OS assistant believe I will make fast progress after this is done and that this is not entirely unexpected. The bonus is that we will get to make sure the Carticel implant is doing well. History of how I got here: One month ago I was bending at 40 degrees. (When I started PT) in the first two weeks, I gained 25 degrees to 65 degrees. But in the last two weeks I gained 6 degrees one weeks and only 4 degrees the next week. (Bummer) I hope to thave the surgery on Friday, but it will probably be next Wednesday. I'll let you guys know how it comes out. I may also have the OS put in the velcro or zippers as these surgeries are getting old. (4 surgeries in 14 months) Don
