Guest guest
Progress is slow, but steady. I go to 70 degrees of flex today. So, I have gone from 52 degrees Nov 16 to 70 today (two and a half weeks) The PT thinks that I will make big progress after I get to some point. we don't know what that point is, but he thinks about 90-100 degrees. The good part is that I am having lass and less pain in the knee itself. I am still only 25% weight bearing. The pT says that this means only toe touches. I go to the OS on the 11th and we will see if he lets me progress with the weigh bearing. The OS has really gone to bat for me with the insurance company also. They denied the claim for a CPM saying I could only have it two weeks. The OS talked them into 8 weeks and maybe more. He told me that if the insurance won't go past eight weeks he will ask the equipment company to let me have it another few weeks for free. That's about it for now. Oh. If anyone needs to be on crutches, be sure and use the forearm crutches. They are great. Don
