This is what I figured for tart selling in my area.

I actually made 6 lbs worth of tarts. Packaged 29 bags each with 4 tarts in. I

also have about 10 bags of single tarts. It cost me about $4.60 to make 1 lb of

tarts.

1 Single tart $0.80

1 bag for $3.00

2 bags for $5.00

3 bags for $7.00

The lady downtown who sells soy tarts, sells a dozen for 7.95. So I figured I'm

staying within a reasonable price range, making my money back plus I still have

money to save for more wax fragrance or anything else I might need. What do you

think?

I made a nice batch of holiday scents:

Gingerbread

Pumpkin Pie Spice

Winter Holiday

Holiday Crunch

Hippy Holiday

Jack Frost

Harvest Spice

I make them for my own personal use with leftover wax from my candles.. I

use leftover container wax I harden up with stearic acid, I get it up to

pouring temp and pour into tart molds.

there are certain waxes that work better and make a harder tart. A general

blend or votive blend. You need wax/scent/color (if you desire) and a mold..

if they are just for personal use you dont need all the fancy candlemaking

things to go with...

I think the prices sound good. I'd buy them for that price. You will probably

always find someone cheaper, but yours sounds like a great price.

I would love to make tarts for my own personal use. Is there anyone who would

be willing to share with me the ways to make them? I have no interest in selling

them.
