Hi guys, following through on what was mentioned earlier about leg

pouches, any of the group who have worked within the forces or tactical areas of

one

sort or another will be aware of Blackhawk industries kit.

You can find them at _www.blackhawkindustries.com_

They have some of the best quality tactical gear available designed for

SWAT, SF and other military applications.

If the pouches that Jim Dawdy mentioned were of interest,Blackhawk do a

medics vest, and a ATLS leg pouch in the same vain as these others mentioned.

And

the quality is second to none.

The vest is available in the UK for about 100 quid and the leg pouch

available for around 60, the others mentioned before you may have to get

imported

from the states, but Blackhawk have several suppliers here in the UK.

The only thing is don't expect Hi vis, they come in black or olive drab for

obvious applications.

Also Arktis ( _www.arktisltd.co.uk_ (http://www.arktisltd.co.uk) ) do a top

quality Medics vest, bit more bulky than the balckhawk one but just as good

quality and easily available as they are a UK manufacturer.

Hope this helps those interested.

Regards and best wishes to any of those guys who decided to go and work for

KBR in Iraq, watch yourselves boys.

Also Paraclete, and highspeedgearinc.com (go to what's new section and check out

the EOD thigh rig-- no of several guys that use that as a medical kit, and love

it). Second the motion on London Bridge Trading and Tactical Tailor. I've

found that most of the Blackhawk stuff is much lower on the list compared to the

manufacturers already mentioned.

There is now a copy of the leg rig available from Galls uk (Dynamed). It

opens up and is used on the leg extended downwards. Cost is #25 +vat. I've

got the Promed version and can thoroughly recommend it and they are good to

deal with over the net.Do some other excellent kit.Galls also supply some

Blackhawk gear.If you time it right with the exchange rate you can save

quite a bit of money, just save #49 on a medical bag.You need to watch the

rate on the net.Yes I don't get out enough Rod.

The pooch packs are good too.I take one whenever I'm working with Rod.
