Hi Ross - well done - I know how difficult it is to run good courses - and also that great feeling when the students learn so much. Guest guest
Have just got back to work having attended the Basic Surgical Skills course. This was a very enjoyable and educational course with most of the course being of a practical nature. The course was taught by two very knowledgeable instructors with some excellent training aids. Although I think the Mark 1 Boardman surgical airway simulator needs some further development. This course was definitely value for money and I can thoroughly recommend it. Well done & Ross for a great course. I cant wait for some of your other courses. Guest guest
Thanks to all for your kind words and to the guys who came along for the first run. We have a lot more to think about for our next line up and will certainly include a number of the extra skills we taught into the standard course. Hopefully the Mk2 (or 3) Boardman surgical airway simulator will be up and running by then. and myself got a lot out of it too which helps when you are teaching as it really does increase the enthusiasm. Yes, the beer and curry evening will have to be included in the next runs of all our courses. For all the lightweights, y and myself took part in a course review on tuesday night too in a few pubs and a Thai, a lot of fresh ideas came from there. Again, thanks to all and looking forward to the next time.
