Guest guest
well when I say the " old mom " I'm actually referring to the fact that Rudy is the second oldest in the group. Joyce's Ben is the oldest at 17. I personally am still a spring chicky!! lol Though I must confess that since my illness my body doesnt agree with my brain but oh well. 1 mom to twins Rudy (ds) & 14, & TJ

My health is better than it has been in years through diet changes and synthroid for my thyroid. I also had a myriad of other health problems besides.. I feel for you. It can improve however witht he right steps of action! When my older children were little, i could have literally screamed with impatience at lunchtime because i so needed to go lay down that i wanted them to hurry up and eat! ( I didnt scream, but i did keep telling them to hurry up and eat mommy needs to take a nap!!!!) Now, thank God, I can run on less sleep and go all day. I am very thankful!!! I hope your situation improves and that you do well! Peggy
Guest guest
, You have mentioned you ahve a illness a couple of times. Do you mind if I ask you what is wrong? It's ok if you don't want to talk about it. I know with my hypo, if has caused my whole body to slowly shut down but now that I am no longer being undertreated, I am slowly, slowly getting better. I just found out the other day I am now severely hypoglysemic. I go Monday to have a 5 hour glucose intolerance test done to see what is causing this. I know it is my thyroid disease causing it. The thyroid can cause many amny problems with your body. I am having the girls Thyroid checked a gain next week. I ask to look at their past blood work yesterday and both were in the borderline numbers. I think they need a low dosage of T4, but their ped does not. Knowing all I know now, I will be taking them to see my doctor to treat this. I would bet my life. this is the reason why is so slow in everything and to why she lacks so much concentration. anyway we will see. Sorry I get sooo passionate about this issue but like have said before, I have been dothe road and up the road on this issue. Guest guest
No prob! I have been getting severe bronchitis and " colds " for about seven years after having an allergic reaction to Carpet Fresh in 93. In Nov of last year we all got the flu and I just never seemed to recover from it. In March I quit my job because of many reasons but one of which was I couldnt get better. My doctor had me on a lot of different meds and basically April was the month from hell. I was having severe body tremors and asthma attacks. I went to see the dr the first week in May and he finally decided to send me to the hospital and while I was waiting for Dennis to get me checked in I went into respitory failure. I am a huge mess now and have been diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) type asthma & bronchitis. Fortunately I dont have the enphasyma (sp?) but still and all its no picnic. I'm trying to get on disability right now but its going to be a long haul I think. Anyway, sorry you asked now??? lol I'm ok though. I get through with my wonderful family and my angel daughter does most of what I used to do. 1 mom to twins Rudy (ds) & 14, & TJ
Guest guest
Wow ! All of that from a reaction to Carpet fresh??? Do they say why? I have never heard of such a thing. I know it must of really taken a large part out of your life and it probably has taken time to adjust. I'm glad your daughter is there to help with the house. Getting the disability will take a while but don't give up and keep fighting for it. No! I am not sorry I ask. With me some poeple just don't understand why I feel bad most of the time. I tell everyone, If you could be in my body for 1 hour, you would be screaming to come out in a bout 10 minutes. lol It has gotten better and is getting better. Just takes a lot of time and patience which I have learned to have since Hannah and came into my life. Keep your chin up. Take care, Pam --- lesfevr21@... wrote: > No prob!
