Guest guest
This was E-mailed to me, but I assume it was meant to be posted: -------------------------------------------------- I wasn't diagnosed with Osteoperosis until I was 45 but my Doctor said with the amount of falls and broken bones I had (3x broken bones just before I was 5) that I probably have had Osteoperosis starting when I was very young. When I was 18, after years of practicing competive swimming 6 hours a day, riding my bikes 10 miles a day (to school) and running about 30 minutes a day, I was diagnosed with Chondromalacia. They tried PT with no luck. So by the time I was 20 I had 2 arthroscopies w/a lateral release and one surgery rebuilding of the knee. None worked; they actually made my knee more painful. I was diagnosed with Chondromalacia on both knees but they only did the surgery on the left knee. Now my right knee is making a popping sound when I extend it. The sound is so loud that anyone can hear it and I can really feel it. I do not want to have surgery on that knee so does anyone know if this is causing damage to my knee and if so is there an exercise I can do to stop it. netroopred@...
