Guest guest
Folks, We have just bought a company name (in England and Wales) that is for non-profit use. This is seperate from the list, but from time to time purposes will cross. The intention is to use Remote Medics Ltd as a fund raising vehicle for the Diploma in Remote and Offshore Medicine project and for general charitable works. At present, our first venture is the basic surgical skills course for remote medics that is going to run in March 2004 and we hope to repeat that over the coming years. The polo shirts are still being planned and we will have those ready for spring 2004 too. All profits will be distributed to the Diploma and any surplus to designated good causes. Rod Eglin is identifying charities that will be part of the site fundraisers and also will be advising the company once we have obtained charitable status. If there any ideas out there for fundraising, please let us know. Happy New Year to all, Ross Basic Surgical Skills for Remote Medics 8-10th March 2004, Staffordshire, UK http://www.remotemedics.co.uk ross.boardman@...
