Guest guest
He wouldn’t even offer cartilage repair or a joint replacement. No meds either; just a referral for water therapy and to see a Rheumatologist. He said I should hear from the Rheumatologist in about three weeks, if not let them know and they will call them and get the ball rolling. I wonder why he thinks I can not sleep well for another three weeks? This whole thing is making me cranky… Joi _____ From: chondromalacia treatment [mailto:chondromalacia treatment ] On Behalf Of Jeff T. Sounds like my first doc who wouldn't do anything. Now I know why - not much that can be done outside of cartilage restoration or joint replacement. Well I guess you could find another OS, perhaps someone who specializes in cartilage repair or joint replacement? Maybe knee replacement is in your future? In the meantime, can you get this shlub of a doctor to prescribe some good painkillers? I was given Vicodin after my surgery and they really helped to take the edge off although I needed anti-nausea meds along with them. Large quantities of Advil or Motrin should help in the meantime if you can tolerate them. Best and keep us informed. -JT > > Well.my Dr visit sucked.
