Guest guest
Hi a , Yes , I've heard of Wheeler's books , they are in my wish list . Future Horizon e-mailed with a list of 1/2 book sale , by the time I contacted them , they were sold out . I did manage to purchase Special Diets for Special Kids by , Ph.D. Which was the last sale book . Then I went to a 1/2 book store to see what resource book was available . They had those books " Toilet Training in Less Than A Day and Training the Physical Challenge (not the full title ) but something like that by Azrin & Foxx , Ph.D. About $ 1.50 for one and the $ 3.95 , also Challenged Parenting by Bonnie Wheeler . This is a large city and I'll hunt around when I'm driving around the areas on errands at other 1/2 book stores . This I liked on the bargain . Thanks for the input , definitely will purchase it now . Oh ! I went to Wal-Mart to ck. out on those slip on shoes , no luck . I did find some at another store , so far likes them . Its also easier to remove them during the toilet training . Thanks alot on that . Just thought everyone know , you see I'm listening and trying out everybody's ideas or I should say putting it to practice . Helps make the right decision , its always worth the trial and money . Speaking about saving . Just wondering since we do alot of research and I know, I print alot of information , has anyone tried the Universal Refill Ink Kit ? Just wondering if it was worth it or not ? Take Care . Guest guest
thanks irma, I think i heard the older kids call these shoes sketchers or streckers or something like that, nathan only voicing certain thing doenst know any certain fun names like that just for clothing. The other place I found some but double the price was trade home shoes, they were very nice and around 35 dollars. But as hard as nathan is on all clothing(he obsesses with it all) I went for the cheaper almost identicle shoe. Ive never tried those ink refill kits but let me know how it goes. shawna >From: jfcanfield@... >Reply- > >Subject: Re: book >Date: Sat, 18 Aug 2001 19:33:34 -0000 > >Hi a , >Yes , I've heard of Wheeler's books , they are in my wish >list . We have a skecher outlet , but I didn't bother , they're always sold out in his size . I found some Everlast slip on that worked out fine with his school uniform . Yes, you're right , also does not care about brands . The new school principle approved for to wear uniform shorts , its not part of the dress code . His Ped . doc faxed a medical prescription to her . Due to 's toileting . Today was his first day to wear the shorts , I hope it works out better for him on the slip on and off , easier to remove then the pants . I'm so glad to learn from you all . Example : request for a medical prescription . : ) The ink refill , I'm not too sure about it . Kind of leary , need some input on it . In the mean time ,I'll just continue purchasing it . Oh! I know what I wanted to ask you ? Those wipes you use , are they flushable ? I also forgot the name . Thanks. Irma , 13, DS/ASD.

Guest guest
I think she's talking about the book by Kate Mushanga (sp?) I saw it i NCES catalogs and have it also. - how do you feel about the serving sizes on the meal plans? My pts are never near that much on the pureed stage and I have had some try and force that much and get sick! I try to tell them they have to listen to their cues, but with so much info I think alot gets lost in the translation.....She also had a CD Rom you can order with 3 week meal plans for pureed, soft, and regular diet. I like it for ideas and show sensible eating, etc... Theresa > Dear Hillary, > What is the nutrition & weight loss surgery book? Guest guest
It is Nutrition and Weight Loss Surgery An Educator's Guide by Kuda Mushaninga, RD. You can find it on the NCES website, http://www.ncescatalog.com/, under the "Primarily Professional" menu, item #3437. They have it listed at $49.95.goliveoyl22 <goliveoyl22@...> wrote: Dear Hillary,What is the nutrition & weight loss surgery book? Guest guest
I agree that the portion sizes are too big. I tell my patients ~4oz total at a meal (in the early stages), and of course to stop if they feel full. I do like the meal patterns in that it gives the patients guidelines as to what healthy eating looks like, but I let them know that I do not expect that they will eat that much. I did find the Guide helpful when I took this position, as I was brand new to bariatric surgery. Theresa <glenn_glbrt@...> wrote: I think she's talking about the book by Kate Mushanga (sp?) They get her books, too Johanna I think everyone should have her book on their shelf.
