I make a whipped foot butter that is mostly cocoa butter, some shae

butter and mango butter, I melt my butters on low heat add emu oil and

mink oil and rice bran, I add about 30% oils to 70% butters, place them

in the fridge or freezer until they get kinda thick and whip, then

freeze, whip, etc etc. until you get it how you want. add fo's when it

is kinda runny still so they incorporate well.

Hi,

This is a shot in the dark and I will be trying it today. But could

you add a carrier oil like sweet almond oil to it while it is 1/2

melted down and whip? I will try it today and post my results.

Hi Anita,

Just add a fixed oil with it like sweet almond or

sunflower oil to it. Some recipes call for water or

whatever EO you want. Some people actually " whip it "

to give it a nice consistency. Although I don't " whip "

my butters, I use regular cocoa butter (the hard stuff)

all the time and depending on how much oil I put in

makes it nice and spreadable. I also use raw shea

butter which is darker and has a slight nut odor which

i prefer because it melts and then hardens to a better

consistency to me.

Hope this helps a little.

I made a whipped cocoa butter by melting 1 part cocoa butter to 1 part oil (in

weight) and whipping for 5 minutes and then freezing for 5. I repeat the

whipping and freezing until I get a frosting-like consistency.

Hello all

I just wanted to know if there was such a thing as Whipped Cocoa Butter?

I noticed that Carol's Daughter has been selling Raw Cocoa Butter but

is it really raw? I ordered 5 lbs of Cocoa Butter this year and

believe me it is very hard.

So how can one whipp Cocoa Butter into a nice consistancy for

spreading..like you would with Shea Butter?

I do hope this makes sense...but please let me know if it doesn't and

I'll clarify.

Kind regards

Anita
