Guest guest
Hi Ian You can try Jakab in Tamworth NSW, Australia. http://www.wholesalenet.com.au/detail2.cfm/Jakab I have seen Jakab ambulances in many parts of South East Asia and have seen them displayed at Ambex in Yorkshire one time. Our local Toyota ambulance is a Jakab here at Ayers Rock with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. They make a pretty good product and have used them myself. As far as I can remember they used to supply the NSW Ambulance Service which is huge! Address: PO Box 614 (Cook Street) TAMWORTH NSW 2340 Office Phone: 61 2 6765 4155 Office Fax: 61 2 6762 3050 Cheers Darren 4WD Ambulances > Guys, > > I need some help in this department. Guest guest
You can try any one of these listed below for contact, but you'll find that the last one has them all listed plus about 20 more. But..... These are all Ford sponsored and built on Ford chassis. I don't know about any other (American) makes that are worth having www.mccoymiller.com/contact.html www.rescuevehicles.com www.vickeryambulances.com http://www.fleet.ford.com/products/specialty_vehicles/qualified_vehicle_mod_am b.asp

Guest guest
For the vehicles them selves This will give you a good baseline http://www.autonation.com/Corporate/Default.asp?Page=Home I do not want to read too much into your request But for you and anybody that may be interested : http://www.crestlinecoach.com/showroom/index.php3?vehicle=1 & type=10 & id=10 http://www.demers-ambulances.com/ The pick-up solutions seems acceptable Although I have never used any of them We have used Mercedes 4 X 4 on this last project And, for the money, we would probably be better of with A 4X4 pick-up with an Ambo mount At the end of the project you still have a pick-up And can store/ship the Ambo cab easily For the others Ambulance tire kicker types http://www.ambunet.com/2type/9861746.htm Brault EMT-P 4WD Ambulances Guys, I need some help in this department. Guest guest
Ian, The ish Ambulance Service are currently trialing a new Long wheel base Landrover Freelander Ambulance. They are using it as a fast response vehicle and for helping with Mountain type Rescues around the hills in Central Scotland. I have seen it at the local Landrover Garage on several occasions probably in for servicing. (Either that or it has broken down)!! If you want I will give them a call this afternoon and get further details for you, I will try and get an email address for them as it will probably be easier for you to follow up. Regards Re: 4WD Ambulances Hi Ian, which country do you want to buy them in? OwenD > Sharpe, Ian R. <iars@...> wrote: > > Guys, > > I need some help in this department. Guest guest
We curently use two 4x4 ambs did a bit of research b4 purchasing for what it is worth here is another 2 cents ... Ford 450 Turbo chas w/4x4 package from factory. The box module best suited is( just one opinion)is from Braun they have a one plug disconnect from the chassis harness facilitating module replacement to new chass as they tend to out live the chassis, second we found and used was wheeled coach but! their wiring harness is a nightmare to re-fit to a new chassis? Hope this helps. There is a US (Braun) rep in Massachucetts I will try to find his info happy hunting Tim
