soft soap??

Has anyone here ever grated their soap and added extra liquid like

oil,glycerin water,aloe etc to make a soft paste or liquid soap. If

so what were the results? thankyou dolores

I did that several years ago. After about a month, the soap hardened up again.

The glycerin just made it a gooy mess that couldn't be used. I've not had any

luck with doing that.

If someone has, I'd like to know the trick.

I did that several years ago. After about a month, the soap hardened up again.

I have grated and melted goat milk soap and added milk to it to make a

soft soap--cream soap. I don't recall how much milk I used but I was

able to use the stick blender to make it creamy.

I have also grated and melted bar soap and added liquid soap to it to

make a cream.

I was making a " request " shaving soap and the customer was satisfied

with it but I sent enough for a long time so I don't know if a repeat

order is in the future.
