Guest guest
Hi Friends,I am writing this mail becos I am receiving so many queries regarding the material that I am tired of answering to everyone individually. Its taking up all my time.I havnt yet received my stuff from Navadha so I cant say if the jaws and teeth are same as MRs. It was dispatched on friday so I hope to get it this week or early next week. I will mail again once I receive the stuff. But he has assured me that it comes with original packing which says German make Frasaco AG3.As for the intruments and teeth from Sheraz are concerned I have already received them so I compared the teeth with the ones I had after doing Freds course and they are ditto. Exactly same in shape, size, anatomy, colour and feel. The hand instruments are really good quality, I think almost similar maybe slightly better than what I used at MRs as they were old and used in the course. The ones at the course are not branded inst, they are simple good quality inst. Infact to me they looked like API inst only.I bought Phantom head, dental unit, jaws and few teeth from Navadha. The total was approx Rs 50,000 (£700) with Mr the same stuff was approx £1000. www.navadha.comWith Navadha the price you see on the website is slightly less than what u pay actually as the postage charges and paypal charges get added to the final bill. It still works out better.I got all hand instruments, endo files, wedges, matrix bands, few burs and few teeth from Sheraz for Rs 5000 (£70) with Mr it was working out to approx £200 or more. I wanted to buy jaws and teeth from Sheraz but due to recent problems in Hyderabad due to Telangana issue, things were delayed so I bought few teeth and jaws from Navadha to save time, Teeth are cheaper with Sheraz. But its not a huge difference compared to prices here, it works out best if you buy the hand instruments too. Only teeth costs almost same as here when u add postage. It is the inst that are most economical. Almost less than £3 per inst as against approx £10 here.If you want only teeth its better you buy it here it self.Compressor I got from www.aircomps.com for £240-250Materials and remaining stuff thats missed out, I intend to buy from Kent Express 01634 878787 www.kentexpress.co.ukI think you have to make the final decision about where you want to buy your stuff from. I heard from 2-3 people who have given exams before that the teeth in exam are slightly different from what we practice on. So there is still a variablity even if you buy the stuff here. Please decide for yourself and please dont ask me what prices I paid as I wasnt offered any special prices they are the same as you see. Normal postage takes 7-10 working days, if you want it urgently u gotta spend more on postage. There is not a huge difference in individual items but when everything is put together it works out much cheaper than what I was spending here. This is the maximum information I have so please do look up things for your self and decide what suits you the best.Hope this answers all your queries.Thank you and all the best.Regards,Shweta
