Hi if anyone from India

How did you guys manage to get the referees part done in the ORe part 1 application

It says if not GDC referee then

"

If you do not have access to a GDC registrant, you can supply a certified copy of the required documents. We

can only accept certified copies if all the following criteria apply:

• The documents are legible;

• The copy is taken from the original document (we cannot accept copies of photocopies or faxes);

• The person certifying confirms (in English) by signing and dating the document that it is a true copy

of the original;

• The person certifying is either a Notary Public, Commissioner of Oaths, Justice of the Peace or another

person entitled to practise law, or an authorised officer of an embassy or consulate;

• The name, signature and address of the person certifying is shown on the copy;

• The person certifying is not a relative of yours I have a few question relating the above

copy from the original document ,, meaning ....i mean i have a doubt " does it say attested photocopies wont do "

who has the authority to sign the documents i mean in India , who can the above mentioned dignitries be ,

please help

Thanks and Regards

Swagat

Hi Swagat,you need to take a photocopy of the original documents and get them attested by an advocate or judge (someone allowed to practice law). they should write on the photocopy that 'it is a copy of the original document', date it, sign and stamp it.hope it helps..From: Dr.Swagat Pranam <drswagatpranam@...> Sent: Saturday, June 4, 2011 8:10 PMSubject: Re: : GDC epay
