Hi GurjotIn my clinical experience it would have happened due to a problem with pressure regulation from the compressor pressing air in to the bottle...there is usually a auto cut off when required pressure is reached so that could happen due to over pressure in the bottle. Also you could have happened to run the unit without any water/low level in the bottle.About using other bottle...we used to do that but you better contact the manufacturer to complain about the accident...could've hurt you and specification for the bottle.Take care...From: gurjot Rakhra <malki_nsr@...>Subject: Deantal unit

Dear Friends, Today I was working on my manikin and all of a sudden ,dental unit bottle exploded.I would like to know has it happened to anyone else too because i am really concerned about the reason for it.And can we attach any simple bottle to the unit or not?Any help will be appreciatedRegards,Gurjot
