Guest guest
Happy New year to all. I read all the posts every day & can empathize with every one. Keep 'em coming. Here's a thought from Matti S. in the land of the Illini Resolution Invocation Let this truly be The celebration of A New Year... Let us remember The past, yet Not dwell in it. Let us fully use The present, yet Not waste it. Let us live for The future, yet Not count on it. Let this truly be The celebration of A New Year, As we remember And appreciate And live rejoicing with each other. Mattie J.T. Guest guest
Jrrjim, I just received news of my last pet scan and I am now cancer free. I had follicular lymphoma and only had 3 chemo treatments. I got myself into an alkaline state and I think that it helped me recover sooner. You need to see an alternative doctor and get off of all sugar.. Cancer loves sugar. Let your alternative doctor decide what you need to take in the way of supplements, minerals, & vitamins. And let him tell you how to get your body into an alkaline state. Good luck and Happy New Year. Let's hang in there together and get this thing figured out.
Guest guest
I have found with long term vegetarians and even vegans that eventually they need meat protein esp red meat. I don't think that would apply to all but the ones I know have had symptoms such as circulation and edema finally start to get better when they added a bit of red meat to their diet. Guest guest
This is an area where I have limited knowledge but I would think it is more the pasturization and of course added hormones and antibiotics that are the problem. Guest guest
Hello jrrjim, A friend of mine leads tours down to the Amazon region to see " of God " . My friend is also a documentarian and has a lot of footage on what goes on down there. I've watched a fair amount of it, including the removal of a large tumor on a man's arm using a pen knife. I only saw a single drop of blood. My friend thought had healed his back from a long term injury. This did not prove to be the case as he still has the same problem and sees me professionally when he gets a flare up. Mike Saturday, January 3, 2009, 12:13:09 PM, you wrote: j> 5. Guest guest
I think you are right Cheri. Milk needs to be unpasteurized, or raw. I am going to make my own cottage cheese from raw milk for the Budwig Diet. You can tell if you are protein deficient by looking at your tongue. If you see indentations on the lateral aspect of your tongue that look like tooth marks, you are protein deficient. I read this in " Internal Medicine for Dentistry: Second Edition " . I wonder if pasteurizing milk makes the proteins unabsorbable or something? I also just read that people with low cholesterol have a higher cancer death rate. Same with low vitamin D levels. And I know vegetarians that had to give up the diet because they needed more protein. I'm very interested in the metabolic type diets which might explain this. I can't see myself ever eating meat again. I hope it doesn't come down to that. ar -- Arlyn Grant arlynsg@...
Guest guest
Someone on another group says that it is possible that the pasteurizing causes malabsorbtion when talking about milk proteins and sometimes if too much is consumed can cause it in other areas not just the milk. Me I don't know but it makes sense. The more pure less processed food is in general the better your body can break it down and use it. There are exceptions of course.
