I have also heard that you can spritz your jars/containers with alcohol and

then let them dry. This is supposed to help with sanitizing them. Hope this

helps.

I just use alcohol for mine. I pour in the alcohol, swish it around and then

dump it out. Then I let them air dry.

How do I sanitize PET plastic jars?

Hi everybody,

I was hoping someone could help me out.

I am putting a sugar scrub into plastic PET jars to sell. I bought

the jars from a supplier.

Do I need to sterilize them before I put the scrub into them? If so,

how do I do that?

I do not have a working dishwasher (though I think that's more for

glass sterilization). I thought I had read a while back about

sterilizing the plastic jars using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol?

Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

does the residue of alcohol not pose any danger to our " NATURAL

PRODUCTS " ?

and i assume this is denat alcohol?

I forgot to add that I also rinse with water afterward so there is no residual.
