Hi guysThis is my feedback about MJDF2The exam itself very well organised.We waited (around 25 ppl) in the room for some time when everyone gathered then staff showed us a video how we have to do OSCES(1st part)then we went to the different floor of the building and in there was held 23 osces(I think...cos of rest stations too).Afterwards, 2.30 hrs later we had refreshment drinks and sandwiches.Then we had to start SCR component of the exam.We went to a big room where there all 5 SCR we had 1 hr to prepare ourselves.5 stations two examiners,time-10 mins each stationOSCES1)Hypoglycemia-actor2)OHI, gingivitis-actor3)Post and core,broken down core-Rx options,actor4)Impacted canines-actor5)Police lady want to obtain some data from reception abt a pt-actor6)Trigeminal neuralgia-pain history

actor7)Auditin on medical record-actors osces8)Phone call abt avulsed tooth-actor9)Place the wire -avulsed tooth10Anaphylaxis?asthma?Really didn't quite understand...I thought it is anaphylaxis...but some ppl said it was asthma..I must admit i instruction was only Pt having tight pain in chest cant breath.....hm...angina,asthma,anaphylaxis....?Then he said it is from dental nurse perfume....ok no wheeze...coz he cant make it up...i gave him salbutamol inhaler..twice he didn't get better....so i gave adrenalin...he got better...However,i heard from ppl that he got better from inhaler......don't know(11)Infection control...watch out for amalgam tooth...put it in the special waste.Also they asked a qs such as what is the black bag with yellow strip?No idea12)Girl(actor) wanted a Hollywood smile,she is happy to pay 50000 to place veneers.Her oral hygiene is OK,however she had only extrinsic staining and tiny gaps b/w central

teeth.13)Swallowed gates glidden-the actor was really nasty,overact..i think...I was a principal...so gotta explain what next steps....he didn't want to listen,many times asked me who am I,who is gonna pay for that,he cant go to hospital...14.Needle stick injury-actor as well15.occult caries,radiolucency at periapical tissue-actor16.write prescription for anug17 write prescription to hygienist abt periodontists18referral for impacted 3rd toothAll I remember,then SCR1)IOTN,b talassemia...without ruler asked grade...I thought it is a bit unfair...appliances,skeletal problems in this disease .A boy had anterior cross bite,girl anterior open bite(due to habit)Also some qs on audit and complaining procedure....dint have time to answer,had to move on..but i knew the answers...just run out the time.Would be nice if room include watch or examiners can stop you at some point....so you will no run out the time!!2)It

was secondary sjogren syndrome,describing the picture,Rx planning,drugs complications(methotrexate,nefidipine,prednisolone,amytriptilin and bisphosponates)3)Evidence based dentistry,also they asked qs on LED vs halogen, their waves,how to prevent polymerisation shrinkage,where amalgam banned,how to deal if you extrude hypohlorite in the apical part,how to prevent this,mercury spillage...again didnt have time to answer!!!It is very upsetting when you know the answer...but run out the time!4)bulimia nervosa,palatal erosion.He asked me what other similar condition so i said anorexia nervosa,eating disorder....but he kept asking what else....?I dont know anymore names of this disorder...(Then another examiner asked abt resin bonded bridges and how i will cement them...technique.About luting cements and varnish.How to increase retention.5)Alzheimer's man came to you practise wants veneers.So they asked abt this disease,management

him.I said because this is mentally deteriorating disease,we need to be very cautious abt extensive Rx planning,may be even seek advise from defence organisations...looks like he was surprised...probably i said smf very new....(Overall,I feel that I fail the exam.The examiners were not very supportive(fair enough...exam in the end of the day)but so many times i answer the qs...and i am in much doubt if it correct or incorrect answer...They do not show any signs of positive or negative answer.Weird for me....The first time in my life I had like that experience....well smf new...I guess...I left exam very upset and feeling stupid.By the way in my group I was the only one overseas dentist...so communication skills obviously weren't as great as I wanted to have.I attended RSC course for MJDF....if you attend it for ORE....dont bother going...the same osces... but.in exam were different.I read O dell,master dentistry,law and ethics
