Guest guest
Second only to the highest quality stuff I can put in my soap, the stick blender is (IMO) the ONLY way to go!! I Love that little sucker! You are right, , I got s book & did all the reading I could get my grubby little hands on - I searched all over the net to learn what I could before I jumped in. I think that's a very wise suggestion! Now my grubby little hands are clean & I have a fun new hobby! Now GIT SOAPING! Michele << Sometimes it can take FOREVER for soap to trace if you are doing it by hand. Do you have a stick blender? If not, it would be worth investing in one. It will cut your trace time down considerably. >>

Guest guest
There are 2 ways to tell you what they look like. 1) Imagine an electric carving knife now hold it up and down instead of horizontal and remove the knife blades... now see a small blender type blade(not mixer) on the end that is facing down... Stick blender! 2) Ever see those infommertials for the small hand held drink mixers? You can grind nuts to make your own peanut butter, make mayonayes with it.... They always show the person making food items in a plastic cup... Stick blender. HTH Terri
Guest guest
The main reason I never had one is because all I do is M & P and I don't need one for that. I know you girls that make CP use the stick blenders, right? This may be a stupid question and somebody may have already described one in one of the emails I haven't opened yet. But what do these stick blenders look like? I'm assuming it's a hand-held type of mixer but are the beaters just plain "metal sticks" like it sounds? Don't pick on me now.....I'm a "newbie". Guest guest
Sam I don't think it showed what brand it was in the flyer. I think they also showed a mini food processor along side it for $5 also. I'm sure for that price it's going to be some brand nobody has ever heard of. But for you girls that use them all the time they would make great back-ups if your favorite one poops out in the middle of making something. I have found the cheaper ones burn up pretty easy. I have a Braun that has yet to give up despite repeated abuse!!! Candi
