marketing question

Hi all,

I am getting ready to try and market my scrubs to a local store, any

suggestions on how to approach the store owner. I will of course

bring in a decent sampling of my products, and my full list of

products should I have an idea of what type of business I will do?

such as commission base, direct sell at a wholesale type price,

something like that, or should I just wait and see what they say?

Should I have a contract printed up ahead of time, or see where it

takes me, and write a contract after I talk to them? Ideas would be

great, thanks in advance.

Have you considered the possibility that the community forum option is not getting a response because these individuals:

1. are ashamed about how they look

2. because of that don't wish to be seen in public

3. at the time they are considering the surgery are somewhat embarrassed that from their perspective "it has gotten so bad I need surgery?"

If that's not the case consider that depression is likely high and with that comes low energy and a tendency to isolate.

I'd do a market research survey with some alumni as well as first time visitors to your clinic and find out what brought them in. Also, how long it took them once they saw the ad before they took action. I am willing to bet the interval is much longer than what most products and services experience.
