I visited an orthopedic surgeon today and he suggested a lateral release surgery, or kneecap realignment, because of my tilted kneecap (according to MRI results). Has anyone had this surgery? What was the outcome? Currently, I have pain pretty much constantly. Pain has gotten worse past 2-3 months. Before this, I had some pain every now and then, but nothing serious.
