Guest guest
Hi Nikki, I just started making both this year. Balms are like lip balms, more transparent and oil enriched. I did my hand and foot balms up in 2 to 4 ounce containers for Christmas presents this year, I use a little less beeswax for the hand and foot balms so they are more like a Vaseline consistency. My Mom is a diabetic and has always had trouble with dry feet. The balm I made for her a couple of months ago have cleared that all up and she says her feet are so soft now. I also use the hand and foot balms I make to put on after I put cream on my hands and feet to help keep the moisture in. I think the favourite balm I made this year was a lavender one, it smells so yummy, my second favourite one would be my Comfrey balm. The creams I am having a lot of trouble with. I've made 2 one with cocoa butter and the other with mango butter as a base with my infused oils, but both batch's ended up separating on me :-( So, it's something I'm still working on. Hugs, Rita Balm or Body Cream > Hi All, > Can someone tell me what the difference between a balm > is from a thick body cream? > I saw a couple of recipes for body balms and wasn't > quite sure what the difference was.
