Guest guest
Dear fellow sufferers, I'm 23, dont have insurance, and right now getting to the bottom of 6 years of dull pain, and there may be an injury on top of that, as this newfound pain came on the soccor field. For the last 2 weeks my knees have been hurting too much to walk more than a little around the house. I'm looking today for a knowledgeable knee doctor who can help me identify the problem, how bad it is, and not just give me painkillers and send me home. If you can answer one of the two questions below, you'd be helping me get the most out of my doctor visits this week. Thanks a lot, friends, for the information. 1. Do you know any knowledgeable knee doctors in Los Angeles? 2. What kind of response should I expect to get when I walk in there complaining of knee pain that hasn't gone away in 2 weeks of rest?------------ IS IT EASY TO PINPOINT THE PROBLEM? X-rays show bone abnormalities only, and aside from bone or hard tissue problems are useless, while mri's show everything, but its too expensive for them to give you one, is that correct? I'm off to see the doctors, have a nice one and thanks for the info.
