Dont worry GabyThere's timer on the computer screen in both exams. From: gabriela gomez <gabygomez82@...>Subject: TIMER in osces and DTP?"ore mutual support" < >Date: Monday, March 7, 2011, 10:38 AM

Can someone, who has already taken part 2, tell me if we have a timer to do the osces and DTP or if we can have our own timerwith us.?I found that very useful because this helps a lot to try to cover mots of the toppics without being lost !thanks in advanceGaby

Hi GurjotIn the Osces, theres a big white screen with a video projector allows you to watch timer count down...once u are inside the osce compartment u cant see it....in the DTP theres a computer screen infront of u while taking ur exam. From: gabriela gomez <gabygomez82@...>Subject: TIMER in osces and DTP?"ore mutual support" < >Date: Monday, March 7, 2011, 10:38 AM

Hi Gaby

In DTP there is a time screen and even examinors tell u about the time screen & u can check it anytime. But its not necessary that time screen in infront of u and could be on one side,so u have to sit in a position where u could see it easily.

In OSCEs dont even think about time screen because there is no time to think or look at the watch.Believe me once ur time start & u just walk into osce station, time just fly.In my opinion,if u are planning to take a watch with u in OSCE station then u r going to waste ur time and its not of any benefit. No dought there is a big screen in OSCEs but u cant see that screen atall when u r inside the station. That timing is basically for the examinors and not for candidates.
