Nick,

Thanks you for reminding me that some of the postings are inappropriate, but

as the list owner I think I already know that, hence I do try and keep a

hold on what is and is not appropriate. We try but we are not always

successful. I could of course ask you to justify you 65% comment but I don't

have the time to go back through the old messages and check the exact

figures, but I don't believe it is anywhere near 65%, I'm guessing but its

probably a figure you plucked from the air?

You are correct in statement the list is predominantly international, and it

is a REMOTE MEDICS LIST not a US in hospital or for that matter US

prehospital list (I'm sure you covered those with when you posted your same

message to the other 11 lists) and your questions specifically mentions

state medical examiners office, a specifically US thing, it also mention

LPN's LVN's and PA's again all US specific.

I am fully aware of which members are on the list and what they do and I

stand by my original comment that I don't think your survey particularly

appropriate for this list.

I am more than willing to continue this discussion off list if you wish, but

in the meantime I hope I am proved wrong and you do get the answers you

desire...

Best Wishes

Re: Paramedics and EMTs working in the

hospitals...Survey

As a member of this list...

it is an entirely more appropriate posting then 65% of what I receive from

this list. True, very few are in-hospital providers, but some may be. This

list is obviously an International list and I believed it to be one with a

wide variety of subscribers with many different perspectives from many

different countries. If I do not ask, then I will never know. I am asking,

so that I can learn from what others may know or be doing. Perhaps you may

be able to do the same.

I am not selling a single thing. I am not involved in any way with any sort

of commercial product. I am merely interested in input regarding the

questions I provided. If you have any I would very much appreciate the

input.

If my questions regarding Paramedics are not appropriate for this

'Paramedic' list, then please remove me from the membership.

Kind regards

Nick

RE: Paramedics and EMTs working in the

hospitals...Survey

Nick,

I'm not convinced this is appropriate for this particular audience ,

afterall only a small percentage of our members are a) involved in

in-hospital care and B) it seems to be very US based and again very few of

our members are from the US (there are one or two though).

You say it is not spam but 1) it is unsolicited and 2) it was sent to 12

different mailing lists, if its not spam at best it is impersonal.........
