hi,

 i think for a bio adhesive gel i.e 10ml ,chlorhexidine conc.  is 0.2%plz do correct me if Iam wrong

im a periodontist n i dont think coming across any terms like early, late in periodontitis...the term chronic itself indicates presence of chronic inflammatory cells like macrophages, monocytes n lymphocytes.....pls check the question...early, initial, late stages are found in gingivitis..

a. Inspect the root surface with an instrument for root smoothness

b. Use air for visual inspection

c. Activate a curette against root surface and listen for a high pitched sound

which indicates a smooth, hard surface.

d. Evaluate the soft tissue at the end of the appointment for a decrease oedema

and bleeding

e. Evaluate the soft tissues 10 to 14 days later.
