Guest guest
Hey , I have the cure for pms.. Udo's choice oil. I swear I sould I could be the national spokes person for them. Do you make shakes? You can put the oil right in there. OR on a salad it tastes great. Well as oils go. YOu just shouldn't heat it. IT takes away some of the benifits. It improves circulation, helps you absorb other nutrients better too. It is a good fat with omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. If you want to know more you can go into the files and read the information there. > Just wanted to say Good morning..i'm feeling so energized > today...even while PMS'ing....ok too much info. LOL > > I'm going back to individual e-mails...you ladies are so inspiring! > > >
Guest guest
Good morning, Shaye (and everyone)! Yes, it has been quiet lately, hasn't it? I don't know about the rest of you but when winter hits this hard, all I want to do is hibernate. I have cleaned my house from top to bottom (what most normal people do in the Spring :-) so that I can relax for the next 2 months or so. I've started an afghan, a great book and some new soaps. I sure hate the cold and the snow but I love the quiet days of this season. My goal is to play around with soy container candles and make myself and my Mom a special lotion from ingredients I've been stashing away for that purpose (carrot seed essential oil, botanical extracts, etc..). Also want to try some cream with MSM for my Mom. I've had some in my cupboard for months now and haven't gotten the time to play around with it. My daughter and I made a trip to the mall last weekend and The Body Shop and Bath & Body Works were having huge sales. We went a little nuts. I've been using The Body Shop's " Honey " Body Butter and it's awesome! Also got a Blue Lavender & Palmarosa candle from B & BW that smells great. My daughter's more into the stronger fragrances at B & BW. She loves them but they give me a headache. I do much better in The Body Shop than B & BW (although B & BW's botanical line is really nice). What's everyone else up to? Stay warm! Katy Morning all! Goodmorning NY soapers!!!! Everyone is soo quiet! Hope you all survived these brutal temps. I know I am ready for some springtime. Kitchen floor preps are comming along. But not yet ready to lay the floor. *sigh* Hopefully hubby will finish up with that part today. Maybe. Anyways, Just wanted to say Goodmorning! Guest guest
Sometimes they will not do a epidural, but they are more willing to do a leg block. I begged for an epidural last time, my 5th surgery and they agreed until surgery morning. The anesthesiologist refused. So I got a leg block instead, it was extremely comfortable. My leg was numb 2 days and had no pain after that. That is the only way I will go for the rest of my surgeries. Krisstina King
Guest guest
I just wanted to let you know that my surgery is planned for September 16th. I'm currently trying to talk the anesthesiologist into doing this with an epidural (I'm all into the quick recovery time!). Let's hope that all he has to do is a quick clean-up and that I'll be out in 15 minutes! I do have a question about PT though...I do my exercises (either at home or at PT) and the next day I can barely stand the pain. It doesn't seem to be a localized pain, it's more an all over pain/ache. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong - has anyone else had this experience? I know my muscles are going to resist the exercises but this isn't just regular muscle ache. I've tended not to do the exercises as much on the second day. I'm seeing my PT tomorrow but you guys all seem to have " been there done that " so you're my first line of attack! Any suggestions you have will be appreciated. BTW the exercises I'm doing are: leg lifts (which are my killers)/hamstring stretches/knee squeezes with legs bent and straight. Nothing weight bearing. The one that hurts the most is the leg lifts. I have to do them with my foot turned to 1 o'clock to help strengthen the v?. Thanks for listening, Kim
