Guest guest
Dear Fellow Members I was just fitted this week with a new pto brace wow what a heck of a difference. Little or no pain. I haven't felt this good in years seriously. I would take 5 or 6 pain pills aday just to stand work. i would stand or sit at my registure with my regular old brace and kept praying for 5 o'clock. This brace is call the unloader bi-com brace. it is great great. if you get time u can look at the web site. this puts all my other braces in the garbage. the web site is www.gen2.com take care greta
Guest guest
Small world...I work at Generation II (the manufacturer of your brace). I'm really glad it relieves your pain!!! For everyone else in the Group, please keep in mind that the Unloader brace is designed to " unload " either the medial or lateral compartment of the knee....not the patello-femoral compartment. Most patients who wear an Unloader have had part or all of their meniscus removed and as a result have osteoarthritis of the femur and/or tibia. The Bi-Com brace that Greta has is a regular Unloader with a patella-stabilizing sleeve under it. It is a great brace, but unless you have reduction in the medial or lateral space, there are other, less expensive braces that more specifically address chondromalacia patella. Again, Greta, it's fabulous that the brace is helping you!! I am really thankful for my knee braces too (cho-pat dual strap, corflex trakker)- they do make a difference. > Dear Fellow Members > > I was just fitted this week with a new pto brace wow what a heck of a > difference. Guest guest
Yes, I've worn the PS-1 for years, and it works fairly well for me. But my new PT recommended a brace that blows the rest away. It's the " Trakker " by Corflex. The butress is more beefy than the PS-1, and the brace itself is much smaller. And at $29, the price is right. > > Dear Fellow Members > > > > I was just fitted this week with a new pto brace wow what a heck of > a > > difference. Little or no pain.
