Guest guest
Hi Lyudmyla, Usually we judge the IOTN in reference to a casts ( up & low. ) and a photo of the dentition on occlusion. to know the over jet and over bite measurment wich are the basic yo give IOTN score.. we can't estimate the O.J and O. B from a radiograph. cheers, Charlot From: Lyudmyla Huhley <huhley2006@...> Sent: Wed, November 17, 2010 11:05:35 PMSubject: new question-tricky one )) Hi guys So let me ask you the question. Guest guest
I agree that casts are necessary to determine IOTN,but in this case,Impacted teeth are the biggest anomaly present and its automaticly graded with IOTN 5;at least that's what I've been told at RCSE course. But I don't think you'll ever get to determine IOTN from radiograph at the exam!
