Hi Lyudmyla,

Usually we judge the IOTN in reference to a casts ( up & low. ) and a photo of the dentition on occlusion. to know the over jet and over bite measurment wich are the basic yo give IOTN score.. we can't estimate the O.J and O. B from a radiograph.

I agree that casts are necessary to determine IOTN,but in this case,Impacted teeth are the biggest anomaly present and its automaticly graded with IOTN 5;at least that's what I've been told at RCSE course.But I don't think you'll ever get to determine IOTN from radiograph at the exam!

Hi All

Yes guys agree with you IOTN 5-because of the impacted tooth.This qs was in the exam ORE1..but without the pic.

Indeed for the exam ore2-you will need a study models ,ruller and so onSincerelyLyudmylaHuhleyhuhley2006@...
