your experience after a tibial osteotomy

It's been 4 weeks post-op for me and I haven't been clearly told what to expect

after

my 6 weeks are up. I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks and i believe he is going

to

take an xray to make sure the bone has healed where the screws are. I've been

going

to pt for 2 weeks now and in another 2 weeks I think the brace will be removed.

Does

this mean I'll be walking in 2 weeks, with or without crutches or a cane? If

I'll still be

on crutches for how much longer? What was your experience? How long where you

in a lot of pain after the removal of the brace?
