I am new at this newsgroup stuff, but sure am glad I found this group as I posted about two hours ago, and already have received such good info. I forgot to mention the my second doc also took knee x-rays and they came back as slight arthritis change, from when my first knee x-rays were taken three months ago. I also had blood tests taken by my ARNP a week ago, and they are not back yet. She is testing for white blood cell count, and rheumatoid arthritis. My ARNP's nurse just called me back and increased my one 200 mg. Celebrex per day to two pills a day. One in the AM and one in the PM. I am keeping my fingers crossed, but does anyone know how long I can take Celebrex at 400mg per day? In the meantime, someone posted that they take 25mg Vioxx a day and it works. I meet with the ARNP again next Monday, and if Celebrex does not help, I may ask for Vioxx. But, it seems to me that the docs should be recommending what avenue to take, not me. Thany you everyone!
