I can see them swirling up and down from across the room, not just seeing them when I lean over and look through my bifocals. Last night there were even bits of WKG swirling up and down. It is now 14 hours later and it still looks like a thunderstorm with the going up and coming down. I expect to see a tornado anytime soon. I am sure that the grains are also growing like crazy; they are sitting on the bottom of the container, but are much thicker and bigger. Here is my formula. 2 cups of WKG 1/2 cup of Newmans Own grape juice 1/2 cup of date sugar 1 tbs. tart cherry concentrate 1 tbs. of agave syrup 6 cups of boiled and cooled water I am not complaining. I may be bragging; I am not sure yet. The big difference from the previous batch is the 1/2 cup of date sugar rather than a 1/2 cup of white sugar. and Katrina Bird's Incredibly Lucky Daddy From: marilynjarz@... It is common for them to grow like gangbusters, too, in certain homes. Milk kefir grains always grow with proper care. Water kefir grains won't necessarily grow with proper care. I think it has to do with water quality. That's why we are trying herbal tea now.
