Mine are in pots because I move them in the winter. I've only had one

successful wintering and that was mild winter. Your winters are even more

brutal than mine. But even when I move them under the dryer vent they don't

seem to make it through the winter. However............

We acquried a dandy greenhouse off FreeCycle and I'm going to try putting them

in there this winter. I've also been told that a lot of the reason they don't

winter over is the lack of sunlight in the northern hempisphere. They are

native to South America.

Don't forget to pinch the tops to make them bushy!
