i have diabetes and am hoping that the kefir milk will help me in my quest to be

cured. It seems that my sugar runs high the next morning if i take kefir in the

evening. Does anyone else use kefir for a tool in controling their glucose

levels....and what have you found in using it. Any ideas, any suggestions

thanks Rudee

I too am a diabetic, and you have to know that ther is 12 carbs per glass of

Keefer milk. They are good carbs, non the less carbs, have to count then. I do

not see Keefer a a diabetic cure. I do make Keefer. I do know that I eat a

large amount of raw goat cheese soft and hard. I use it for a large amount of

my protein, almost no carbs. It has not hurt my A1c . I highly suggest you see

the web sit of Dr. Bernstain MD A . com sit ,use key word search The

Dr has been a diabetic since 9 years old and he is in great health at 82. He

has a wealth of info.

My style is eat small 6t a day lots of exercise prayer alot with my Nubbins.

God Bless

Diabetics are deficient in GTF (Glucose Tolerance Factor) Chromium. Take 1

100mcg 3x's per day and watch your insulin intake very closely as you will

probably have to reduce it or eliminate it completely. There are lots of people

that have done this.

You might want to get this book, it's very inexpensive.
