strainer question

Howdy all~

Having fun with my new kefir grains! :)

Looking for a good way to strain the grains from the finished kefir and haven't

come up with a strainer I'm really happy with yet.

Was wondering if a gold filter (coffee filter) would be harmful to the grains.

I'm using a plastic collander/strainer but the holes are a little bigger than I

like. From posts here I do know not to use silicone or stainless steel but was

curious about the gold filter.

Thanks and take care~

Steph
