Guest guest
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but fluoride wont evaporate. Chlorine will. " Answer: Since you are using distilled water, the WKG grains are probably not getting minerals which they need to multiply. Try adding a few drops of unsulphured blackstrap molasses, a slice of organic lemon, a slice of ginger root, and half an eggshell that has been rinsed and boiled. I do the above, but use tap water (because it has naturally-occuring minerals) that has been boiled (to evaporate fluoride) and then cooled (to not kill the grains). My grains multiply with each ferment. I ferment for 2 days, or until the liquid loses all of its sweet taste (sometimes 3 days if I have added too much sugar). , taste your ferment to make sure you are not fermenting too long (which would cause starvation to the grains). Guest guest
Sorry, I didn't know. Like I said I'm new to this. Can you explain the diiference to me. It's all kefir right? Just some is a milk product and the other is water product< but it's all kefir grains, right?  thank you God Bless America ------------------------------------- No...It's not all kefir. This is what you need to understand to avoid confusion. If you are making a beverage with water grains you need to call it water kefir. Underscore the word " water " . If you are making a beverage with kefir grains then you can call it kefir. Remember kefir grains means milk kefir grains. Kefir grains = milk kefir grains. Kefir grains never refer to water grains. They are totally different. I got pretty excited when you said you had 12 cups of kefir grains. Imagine my disappointment if I had let you send them to me. Guest guest
If you haven't received any water grains or offers yet, I'd be happy to send some. Just let me know at " sherre_vacek (at) " and I'll send you a PayPal invoice for $10 to cover my shipping expenses. I send enough dehydrated grains to rehydrate to between 1/2 to 3/4 cups of grains, along with instructions. Sherre Vacek > > Does anyone have any water kefir grains for sale that they could send me.
