Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for the encouraging letter. I am printing out copies for of those letters which address comments to him. I'm not sure he realizes how much people admire his courage in letting everyone know about his struggle. For years we were not supposed to talk to anyone about all this, except for family. (He knew that was inevitable.) I don't know if you know what a relief it is to finally have it out in the open and to be able to talk about OCD and . I am happy with the progress he has made so far - and I know this is only the start! Thanks again, Jackie
Guest guest
Dear Ann, I have been thinking of you and wondering if everything was OK since we hadn't heard from you in a while. Great news about going to " regular " school. Thanks for the kind words. I tried to get interested in displaying some of his art for Washington, but no luck. Perhaps now he will be more willing. That was only one of his drawings and one that he did there in the bathroom. Very graphic depiction of the agony of the disorder, I think. I hope we can get him to the conference. I think it would do him a world of good. I can even see him as a sort of " Pied Piper " for the younger kids! Take care and Happy New Year, Jackie

I showed Kel part of the 48 Hours broadcast, and she would like to meet him. She thinks being stuck in the bathroom is especially mean OCD. Guest guest
I'm planning to take a weekend trip and want to ask how I should handle my kefir grains left at home. Would it be better to double the amount of milk and leave it out in the kitchen for 48+or- hours (house will probably be about 80 to 85 degrees)? Or should I put the grains in milk just covering and place them in the refrigerator? Will placing them in the fridge for that long cause any rejuvenating time? Or any other thoughts? Thank you.
