I was culturing a pint of milk with the few grains that I was given. It was

setting after 12 hours, but the grains weren't multiplying very much. They were

doing a good job, considering that I had about 1/2 teaspoon of grains.

I got sidetracked and didn't strain them for a couple of days. There was no

separation, but the grains MULTIPLIED. I'm thinking about culturing a quart for

2 days and see how that does.
